M/F/DAutomation Engineer

Vorwerk Autotec is a global developer, manufacturer, and distributor of rubber bushes and bearings for automotive suspension components. To strengthen the Vorwerk Autotec team in Čačak, we are looking for a:

Automation Engineer

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Programming of PLC and drives for special machines and production units
  • Analysis and diagnosis of devices and failures
  • Preventive and regular maintenance of electronics and control elements (frequency regulators, temperature controllers, sensors, PLC, drivers)
  • Overhaul and installation of individual automation assemblies
  • Repair cost optimization (proposed correction to the maintenance department or propose external support to eliminate the errors)
  • Providing work reports to the line manager
  • Organize employees training for work on machinery and equipment
  • Support set up machine parameters and the process definition
  • Installation or cooperation in the installation of equipment and commissioning of equipment

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Automation;
  • Good knowledge of Siemens TIA portal, KUKA robots, PILZ, SICK safety concept, EPLAN;
  • Experience in a relevant field, preferably in the automotive industry, will be considered an advantage;
  • Well-versed with Office software;
  • English language knowledge (B1).
